WALKING FOOT MP®

The Walking foot MP has a laminated morphology that fits users needing a energy returning foot with a medium - dynamic mobility and an high comfort.
The morphology and the connection between the laminates gives the following functional advantages:
Gradual Load acceptance when heel touch the ground, good amortization with gradual dropping of foot’s tip, thanks to superior laminate working as anterior - tibialis muscle to not overload joints and allow a stable walk and balanced.
An effective dorsiflexion and good rolling during mid-stance between heel and forefoot
Plantaflexion and propulsion push until push-off phase, when the foot leave the ground, managed by superior and inferior laminates

We offer the Walking Foot MP for older users for his good amortization touching the ground and for his good stability. This foot is also for active users that prefer to have stability as the first feature.

Prosthetic foot in carbon fiber, returning energy, laminated in autoclave with aereonautical process (it means that the foot last most time)
Semplified and light structure
Amortization during load acceptance thanks to a laminate flexion of more than 10-14 mm

Flexion of plantar arch about 5-8 mm during the walk allowing foot propulsion

The plastic wedges allows the user to choose the level of elastic energy he wants, with the soft wedge the user can have a flexion of 7-8 mm instead of 10 mm, with the rigid wedge 4-5 mm
Titanium screw – 5 degrees
Complied with ISO 10328: a different institution - Politecnico di Milano - tests Roadrunnerfoot products (meanwhile competitors make tests by themselves)
Simulations of Kinetic behaviour allowed us to decide materials to use to reach the level of kinetics, elasticity and resistance desired.
We got throught test according to ISO 10328:
statics breaking A60, 2415 N
last working limit A60, 1330 N for 2 millions of cycles
